The twisted, spreading limbs of a vine maple in Winter in Golden Ears Provincial Park, British Columbia.

To Wonderland

British Columbia

The twisted spreading limbs of a Vine Maple are laid bare in Winter when there are no leaves to hide them. In my mind, this image recalls the hole that Alice took to reach a non-sensical, fantasy land in 'Alice in Wonderland'. It reminds me that the picture becomes increasingly complex and interconnected the more I learn - and unlearn - about ecologies. Photo © copyright by Anna Morgan.
