Payment and Cancellation Policy

Payment

The total cost payable to Anna Morgan Photography for the services provided during the workshop shall be the amount stated on the webpage. A non-refundable deposit is made at the time of registration which guarantees your spot on the workshop. The remaining balance is due no later than 45 days prior to the start of your workshop. If the full balance is not received by the date that it is due, Anna Morgan Photography reserves the right to cancel your reservation and retain any deposit or payments already made.

Cancellation by Client

  • Should you need to cancel for any reason, a notice of cancellation must be sent to, and received by, Anna Morgan Photography in writing, which will become effective as of the date sent (i.e., the date postmarked for standard mail, or the date/time sent for electronic communications).
  • If you send your notice of cancellation more than 90 days prior to the start of the workshop, your initial payment minus a $100 CAD fee will be refunded.
  • If you send your notice of cancellation between 45 and 90 days prior to the start of the workshop, you shall forfeit your deposit but shall not be liable for the remaining tuition balance. Although the the deposit is non-refundable in this situation, it is transferrable to another party. If you can find someone to take your spot, or if your spot is filled from someone on our waiting list, your initial payment will be refunded minus a $100 CAD fee.
  • If you send your notice of cancellation less than 45 days prior to the start of the workshop, you shall forfeit your entire tuition and no refund will be given. Although the tuition is non-refundable in this situation, it is transferrable to another party. If you can find someone to take your spot, or if your spot is filled from someone on our waiting list, your initial payment will be refunded minus a $100 CAD fee.

    There are no exceptions to this policy.

Cancellation by Anna Morgan Photography

  • Anna Morgan Photography reserves the right to cancel any workshop if the minimum enrollment is not met, or because of good-faith concerns with respect to safety, health, or welfare of participants. Cancellation decisions shall be made in the sole and absolute discretion of Anna Morgan Photography. If a workshop is canceled prior to commencement, you will be given the option to reschedule to a later date or receive a full refund. We are not, however, liable for expenses incurred such as airfare or accommodations, and for this reason we also recommend the purchase of travel insurance to protect you in the event of an unexpected situation that prevents you from attending the workshop. If a workshop is canceled while in progress, you will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days not completed.

Thank you for choosing to participate in a photography workshop with Anna Morgan Photography. By registering for and/or paying a deposit towards a photography workshop with Anna Morgan Photography, you agree that you have read and understand the Terms and Conditions set forth below:

  • The date, location, and tuition for your specific photography workshop shall be detailed on the webpage for your workshop. During the workshop, Anna Morgan Photography shall provide in-the-field photography instruction and location guidance as detailed on the webpage. While local lodging, food and transportation lists will be shared wherever possible, Anna Morgan Photography does not provide, and bears no responsibility for providing, transportation, lodging, or meals during the workshop.
  • Anna Morgan Photography strongly encourages all Clients to purchase travel and medical insurance for your workshop in order to protect you in the event of a sudden emergency before or during your workshop, and coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, illness, injury, damage, and loss or theft of baggage, as well as emergency assistance.
  • You acknowledge that the workshop and outdoor photography in general carry an inherent risk that cannot be controlled or limited by Anna Morgan Photography. You, for yourself, your heirs, executors or anyone else who may claim on your behalf, hereby waive, release and forever discharge, Anna Morgan / Anna Morgan Photography, assistants and affiliates, representatives, executors, and all others from any and all responsibilities or liability from personal injury, death, damage to property or loss of any kind resulting from participation in a photography workshop event including claims of negligence by Anna Morgan Photography. This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss and liability. You are responsible to research the event and bring the proper gear. You are also responsible for selecting activities that are appropriate for your physical abilities and interests.
  • Your attendance at any event confirms that you have read and accept the terms of this liability waiver. By signing up for this event you understanding that you are attending at your own risk
  • Anna Morgan Photography gives no warranty, express or implied, or of fitness for a particular purpose, in connection with the workshop. You acknowledge that Anna Morgan Photography makes no warranty whatsoever with respect to any intended results that you expect to derive from the services provided. You acknowledge that travel with a group involves compromise to accommodate goals, desires, personalities, abilities, and physical capabilities. Participants understand that weather and conditions are unpredictable or difficult to forecast. Itineraries are planned, but flexible, and no part of the schedule can be guaranteed. Anna Morgan Photography’s sole warranty is that it will use commercially reasonably efforts to perform its obligations and the services as defined herein and on the webpage.
  • Anna Morgan Photography reserves the right to take photographs and videos during the operation of any workshop and to use the resulting photographs or videos during the operation of any subsequent workshop or for commercial or promotional purposes, and you agree to allow your likeness to be used for those purposes without compensation. You grant Anna Morgan Photography a non-exclusive worldwide irrevocable license to use those videos or photographs for editorial, promotional, and training purposes. However, Copyright to all photographs and videos that you take during the Workshop shall belong to you. If you prefer that your likeness not be used by Anna Morgan Photography, you must notify us in writing prior to commencement of your Workshop.
