Chile Workshop Payment and Cancellation Policy
Workshop Providers
This photography workshop is provided jointly by Anna Morgan Photography and Patagonia Visual (together, the “Workshop Hosts”).
All payments are processed via Anna Morgan Photography, which acts as the payment processor on behalf of the Workshop Hosts.
Payment
The total cost payable for the services provided during the workshop shall be the amount stated on the workshop webpage.
A non-refundable deposit of $1,700 CAD is due at the time of registration and secures your place on the workshop..
The remaining balance of $5,675 CAD is due on February 4th, 2027. This payment is non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest on the waitlist if one is available.
If the full balance is not received by the due date, the Workshop Hosts reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain any deposit or payments already made.
Cancellation by Client
• Should you need to cancel for any reason, written notice of cancellation must be sent to, and received by, Anna Morgan Photography. Cancellation will be effective as of the date the notice is sent (for electronic communications) or postmarked (for standard mail).
- If you send your notice of cancellation more than 120 days prior to the start of the workshop, your initial payment minus a $100 CAD fee will be refunded.
- If you send your notice of cancellation between 60 and 120 days prior to the start of the workshop, you shall forfeit your deposit but shall not be liable for the remaining tuition balance. Although the the deposit is non-refundable in this situation, it is transferrable to another party. If you can find someone to take your spot, or if your spot is filled from someone on our waiting list, your initial payment will be refunded minus a $100 CAD fee.
- If you send your notice of cancellation less that 60 days prior to the start of the workshop, you shall forfeit your entire tuition and no refund will be given. Although the tuition is non-refundable in this situation, it is transferrable to another party. If you can find someone to take your spot, or if your spot is filled from someone on our waiting list, your initial payment will be refunded minus a $100 CAD fee.
- There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy.
Cancellation by Workshop Hosts
The Workshop Hosts reserve the right to cancel any workshop if minimum enrollment is not met, or due to good-faith concerns regarding participant safety, health, environmental conditions, or welfare.
If a workshop is canceled prior to commencement, all tuition paid will be fully refunded. The Workshop Hosts are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants, including airfare, accommodations, or other travel-related costs. Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
If a workshop is canceled after it has commenced, a prorated refund will be issued based on the number of days not completed.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering for and/or submitting payment toward a photography workshop provided by the Workshop Hosts, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
• Workshop details including dates, locations, and tuition are outlined on the workshop webpage. During the workshop, the Workshop Hosts will provide in-the-field photography instruction and location guidance as described. Transportation, lodging, meals, and personal expenses are not included and remain the sole responsibility of the participant.
• Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, illness, injury, emergency evacuation, loss or theft of equipment, and other unforeseen circumstances.
• You acknowledge that outdoor photography workshops involve inherent risks that cannot be eliminated, including but not limited to weather, terrain, wildlife encounters, remoteness, and physical exertion. You voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, you, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Anna Morgan Photography, Patagonia Visual, their instructors, assistants, affiliates, representatives, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation in the workshop, including claims of negligence.
• This release applies to all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities. You acknowledge that you are responsible for assessing your own physical abilities, selecting appropriate activities, and bringing suitable equipment.
• Your participation in the workshop confirms that you understand and accept that you are attending at your own risk.
• The Workshop Hosts make no warranties, express or implied, regarding specific outcomes or results from participation in the workshop. Itineraries are planned but remain flexible due to weather, wildlife, access, and other uncontrollable factors. No specific schedule, sightings, or conditions are guaranteed.
• The Workshop Hosts reserve the right to capture photographs and video during the workshop and to use such content for editorial, promotional, or educational purposes without compensation. You grant the Workshop Hosts a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use your likeness for these purposes. If you prefer not to have your likeness used, you must notify the Workshop Hosts in writing prior to the commencement of the workshop.
• Copyright to all photographs and videos created by participants during the workshop remains with the participant. • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the applicable Canadian province where the workshop is organized.
